PETIT PARIS RESTAURANT

Le Petit Paris is situated in the historic Grassmarket in the shadow of Edinburgh Castle yet succeeds in providing the ambience of a “bon coin” in an arrondissement of Paris. The terrace tables, the bijou interior, the staff and the traditional menu, all create the sense of being in the French capital.
Most importantly, the food also delivered – we enjoyed excellent boudin noir, Toulouse sausages and perfect steak frites, all with friendly, efficient service.

If you want a good value, really tasty, genuinely French bistro meal in Edinburgh, you simply cannot do better than this. It’s when the bread and butter, never mind the table d’hôte, take you straight back to France, that you know you are in somewhere special. And it doesn’t break the bank
